A rollercoaster of pros and cons

The outdoor bathroom, complete with fish, was delightful and the staff's friendliness truly stood out! Breakfast by the beach was spectacular, complemented by stunning sunset views. A highlight of my stay!

The location was rather distant from the main pier, making lugging bags a hassle.

Oh, where do I begin? the breakfast here is just awful, almost like I ordered it off the back of a truck. I expected a complimentary upgrade for my disappointment, but I guess that's too much to ask. The pool was less inviting than a kiddie pool at a birthday party. Absolutely shocking experience, I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn’t.

Yo, the outdoor bathroom with the fish was sick! Super comfy bed, great air con, and breakfast by the beach was just what we needed. Staff hooked us up with free bikes to cruise around. Can’t forget those killer margaritas either! Just wish the WiFi was better. Definitely coming back!

We loved our stay with the family! The cozy, rustic bungalows were perfect for our group, and the outdoor showers with koi fish were a hit with the kids. Plus, watching the sunset over the volcano with a drink in hand from our beach spot was absolutely magical.

My wife says that the wifi was frustratingly spotty.

The air conditioning emitted a sewage-like odor that was a bit off-putting. it detracted from what could have been a perfectly comfortable getaway. Additionally, the pool was overly chlorinated, making it unpleasant to swim without concern for irritation. And the restaurant service felt rushed, with a menu that didn’t quite live up to expectations, including a breakfast selection that could’ve used more variety.

We had such a lovely experience, especially enjoying the free bikes assigned to our room and the cozy, simple layout of our space. The outdoor pool and beachfront lounging options were just perfect for relaxation after a busy day. Just a heads up, the outdoor bathroom does attract a few insects, so be prepared for that! 🚴‍♂️

The Gili Teak Beach Front Resort offered a relaxing stay with a beautiful setting on the sunset side of the island. The semi-outside bathroom with a lovely view of fish was a unique touch. The staff assisted with organizing a snorkeling tour, which was one of the highlights of the trip. Breakfast by the beach, overlooking Mt. Agung during spectacular sunsets, added to the overall fantastic experience. The complimentary bikes made exploring the island effortless.

It was just a good match for a brief pause in Gili Trawangan with fantastic value for money. Enjoyed the super tasty meals at the beach restaurant, especially breakfast on sunny days. Rely on the bicycles to explore, but keep an eye out for potholes on the roads.
